Tim Di Pasqua, a native of San Francisco, is a Singer/Songwriter has been awarded the Backstage Bistro Award, four times; OUTSTANDING SINGER/INSTRUMENTALIST, OUTSTANDING SPECIAL PERFORMANCE, for PURPOSE OF LOVE – A TIM DI PASQUA SONGBOOK, OUTSTANDING SONG OF THE YEAR – “ONE”, and for OUTSTANDING DUO OR GROUP for SOUTHERN COMFORT along with Tom Andersen and Scott Coulter. For the same show the boys won the 2007 NEW YORK NIGHTLIFE AWARD. As a solo artist, Tim has performed in all the major clubs and halls in New York; Birdland, Joe’s Pub, The Bitter End, The Russian Tea Room, Town Hall, Carolines, Carnegie Hall, Eighty-Eights, The Triad, The Village Gate, Don’t tell Mama’s, Tavern on the Green, and Sardi’s as guest vocalist with The Joe Traina Quintet. Tim started out his career performing for packed houses five nights a week at the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco.

Tim’s most recent successes include arranging and performing Carol Hall and Robert Burke’s song WAR ON CHRISTMAS DAY with Scott Coulter and Tom Andersen, for Carol’s album HALLWAYS on the LML label. An accompanying music video can be seen on YOUTUBE. Tim is presently serving as musical director and arranger for Jim Van Slyke’s critically acclaimed The Sedaka show, celebrating the music of Neil Sedaka, with the help of Neil himself. Tim and Jim and Neil recently made their Feinstein’s NYC debut. Tim has performed at Carnegie Hall with Michael Feinstein in his “Now and Then” series celebrating Sammy Cahn, and new composers. He has also served as both guest vocalist and accompanist for Oscar and Grammy Award winner Stephen Schwartz in his recent concert appearances. Tim has collaborated on a new song called Falling from Grace that he wrote with Tony nominee, Nan Knighton, of Scarlet Pimpernel and Saturday Night Fever fame.. Tim is also well known for his collaborations with award winning Singer/Songwriter Tom Andersen, and their hit, EVERY NIGHT I SLEEP WITH AN ANGEL.

Among the growing list of Tim’s songs that can be heard being performed around the globe, are YOU, I WANT TO GO HOME, BIG HAIRY MAN, SINCE LOVE”S COME AROUND, MAYBE YOU DIDN’T HEAR ME, and THE BEST THAT I CAN DO. Tim’s real strength lies in his songwriting for his own voice and for the musical stage, for which he has completed the music and lyrics for his musical SYNCHRONICITY on Easter Records. Tim has three other cds in his catalog including MONSTER UNDER THESE CONDITIONS, his solo debut recording, and PURPOSE OF LOVE – A TIM DI PASQUA SONGBOOK Volumes ONE and TWO. This recording was inspired by his BISTRO-winning concert of the same name featuring some of the best vocalists from the Pop world and the Broadway stage. The two-night event raised over $6,000.00 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Tim is also a founding member the 501 c3 not for profit THIRD EYE THEATER COMPANY in New York City.
